6 Easy practices to raise your vibration

Are you struggling to lift your energy or mood? With the following six easy-to-follow practices, you can live your energy in no time and experience a sense of joy and happiness again. High vibrations are associated with feelings of personal power, peace, love, and fun. When you raise your vibrations, these are the kind of feelings you may experience.

Dance:

To start us off, dance! I know that sounds ridiculously simple, but it’s true! All you need to do to raise your vibrational energy is dance! The simple act of moving your body will raise your vibrational energy! Dancing is a surefire way to get the blood pumping, boost oxygen flow, and increase your positive energy!

Furthermore, it lifts your spirit with every move you make. Dancing has been shown to boost memory and cognitive ability, lowering depression. Lower depression just by dancing, yep, you heard that right! Sometimes when we are in a low mood, the last thing we want is to dance ourselves to happiness. It is much more comfortable to stay and feel sorry for yourself. Put some tunes on and stand up. In the beginning, you might close your eyes and let the music move your inner world. After a while, you feel your body wants to join in, asking to be allowed to move. Just a bit here and there, a little swing, and suddenly you are all in. You don’t have to be a great dancer at all. It would help if you let your body and not the mind dictate the movement.

Allow yourself to merge into the dance

The more you do it, the easier it gets. Trust me! I have not been dancing for nearly 30 years as I was too body-conscious and did not feel at home in my own body. I also thought that I couldn’t dance, and I didn’t want to make a fool of myself. However, one day I pushed myself to take up one of my friends on an invitation to join a one-day 5 Rhythms Dance Workshop. Yes, exactly, a bloody full day! You know what? In the beginning, I danced with closed eyes and allowed the music to move through me. More and more, I let go of control and just danced and danced and danced.

I lost myself in dance and could not stop anymore. After 8 hours of dance, I was tired and felt so liberated that I had never felt in my life before. All these years, I missed out on the opportunity to dance and how it made me feel. 5 Rhythms is a free dance practice invented by the amazing Gabriel Roth, who understood herself as an Urban Shaman and used dance for healing purposes. Spend time in Nature:

Too many of us spend long hours sitting in office buildings and evenings in front of the TV. Get out in nature! Being in nature allows us to disconnect from our modern world and be more present. It can help us center ourselves and overcome our daily challenges with more grace and humility. It is the most potent healing force available to us. Breathing in the clear air, looking at a blue sky, or taking an oxygen shower in the woods will renew every cell in your body. Tod you know that in Japan, people invented forest bathing? People come together, go into the forest and celebrate their connection with nature. This has a powerful effect on their overall health and mental well-being.

Not only does forest bathing lower stress, increase energy, increase creativity and overall live a better and more balanced life. So get out in that park, those woods, wherever you can! you try it! Get in nature every week and watch the benefits happen in real time! It will raise your vibrational energy while being in a better place to tackle your dreams and ambitions.

Eat Clean/Organic Foods:

Yes, it’s true, what we put into our body will affect the whole of our system, so why not try to eat more clean/organic foods is a great way to keep the positive energy flowing! The fewer pesticides and chemicals we come in contact with, the better! I know it can be complicated and expensive (argh!!), but start small and work on it little by little! You can also begin to order a local organic vegetable box, which is a quick and easy way to get all the goodness delivered right to your door. The best thing is that it is also seasonal vegetables, allowing you to even it in harmony with the seasonal cycles.

Unplug:

Disconnect from all the tech in your life! This can go hand in hand with more nature in your life or simply mean leaving your phone at home for a few hours a day. We know it’s hard, especially nowadays, but try to unplug for a little bit every day! Take some time off and walk your dog. Why not play a game with your kids or invite friends for a board game evening? You can add some cheese and wine if you want to. Remember when you enjoyed reading a good book or just sitting there for a while and being present in the moment? Becoming aware of how you feel and what is going on around you is something that we have forgotten about. The constant media consumption, especially social media, has rewired our brains and led to insomnia and nervous tension. So, let’s change this and find some other things to do. What about a candle-making workshop, like a nice bath with essential oils? There are so many things that you can do without the need for technology. The benefits are numerous, and it will get easier!

Breathwork:

Try to include some intentional breathing into your day. This one is cool because it only takes a few moments to get the benefits of breathwork! If you like it to be a bit simple, focus on your breathing and practice mindfulness. n just two minutes, you can be more present, get more in tune with your body, and lower stress! Be kind to a stranger:

Today, more than ever, people are disconnected from each other in ways that all previous generations have not experienced. People are so caught up in the minutia of their daily lives that they rarely have time to help others or even notice the people around them! Let’s try to change that while raising our vibrational energy and happiness. It is proven that just one simple, random act of kindness, can have excellent health and well-being benefits for you! It might be hard at first but go for it! A few nice words or lending a hand to a stranger will brighten both of your days! Give it a try! This simple act of helping a stranger will instantly raise your vibrations, lower your stress and leave you in a better mood for the rest of the day. If you start doing this daily, your life will improve in ways you never thought possible.

As you can see, there are many ways to quickly move from a low mood into a positive way of thinking. It doesn’t need to be complicated or take a long time; all of the above practices are simple to integrate into your daily life. What you do today will determine your tomorrow.
